Kira Player is a New Jersey based actor working with Root Beer Occasion for the first time. She has worked regionally all along the East Coast. Some credits include Hermia, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Anne Frank, And Then They Came for Me (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), and Emmy, A Doll's House part 2. Mary Rose Go most recently performed as Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte with Opera on Tap at PS 129 in Harlem. Other roles include La Rochois in La Maupin with Fresh Fruit Festival, Amor (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Despina (Cosi fan tutte), Nella (Gianni Schicchi), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), Rosina (The Barber of Seville). Other highlights include debuting a jazz arrangement of Walter Loving’s “Beloved Philippines” at Cave Canem and being a featured singer for the Hawai’i Performing Arts Festival. She also dances with hula hālau Pua Ali'i 'Ilima o Nuioka under Kumu Vicky Holt Takamine.
